Student Life

At Aquinas Academy, we provide a safe environment and a culture of respect and love. Within this context, we encourage our student to develop a deep faith life, a passion for learning, and an ability to act well in social situations. Our mission is to help parents form their children in the knowledge and practice of the authentic Catholic faith and Western culture; in the recognition and love of whatever is genuinely beautiful, good, and true; and in the discernment of their respective vocations.

Keeping in mind the unique characteristics and gifts of each person, we focus on forming the whole child. This holistic view - forming the mind, heart, body, and soul - encourages the wonderfully unique atmosphere that exists at Aquinas Academy.

Encouraging our Students

When students know that their teachers love and care for them, the security and support that they feel encourages them to participate in the various activities that we provide. Participation in these activities encourages students to develop camaraderie, cooperation, and a sense of community. These developments encourage students to experience the pleasure of learning, which is an important part of becoming a lifelong learner.

These are some of the activities and events that our students enjoy throughout the school year:

  • Summer Fun Run and Family Picnic
  • Sports Teams
  • All Saints Day Celebration and Program
  • Service Projects
  • Spelling Bee
  • School Spirit Week
  • Forensics
  • Pi Day
  • Spring Field Day
  • Field Trips
  • 8th Grade Retreat
